Glows, washes, hairlines, chips, and focus rings all derive from a single colour. Change it once and the interface retargets.

RULE
Elevation gets bluer, not lighter.
Each step of the ramp is cooler and only slightly lifted. Grey ramps read as dead on a near-black field; blue ramps read as lit. The accent stays between three and thirty percent opacity everywhere except primary actions and live values.
